Your Role:

As a Backend Developer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of our backend systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our applications, utilizing your expertise in PHP/Laravel, SQL, and RESTful APIs.

You will be working on high scale Apis, which handle millions of requests each day, where every query and optimization is carefully considered and applied. Building custom composer packages, and implementing them throughout projects. Architecting and implementing solutions that serve millions of people. Integrating external services and apis.

Your Skills:

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in PHP/Laravel and building RESTful APIs;
• Proficiency in SQL and a proven track record of efficiently handling large databases;
• Familiarity with Docker and Git for seamless development and deployment processes;
• Strong understanding of data structures, and a keen eye for optimization;
• Ability to delve deep into existing systems to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions;
• Proven capability to independently solve problems and drive projects forward;
• A curious mindset, always eager to learn and explore new technologies;
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have:

• In-depth knowledge of Laravel framework, maximizing its capabilities;
• Familiarity with event bus and queues for asynchronous processing;
• Exposure to additional development languages, broadening your skillset;
• Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure technologies, such as Kubernetes (K8S);
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or KeyDB/Redis;
• Comfortable with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes;
