WordPress Developer (part-time)

We are looking for a WordPress Developer to join a healthcare project focused on building and improving a digital health solution. You will be responsible for website maintenance and enhancements, bug fixing, and coordinating releases while working closely with the client, marketing manager, and the vendor’s technical team. We are looking for a proactive and independent specialist who can manage requests end-to-end, estimate tasks, and ensure clear and timely communication.

Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain websites based on client requests, including visual changes, new pages, and minor functional modifications.
• Identify and fix bugs, and test implemented changes to ensure quality and stability.
• Estimate incoming requests, assess their scope, and provide realistic delivery timelines (ETAs).
• Plan and coordinate releases with the vendor’s technical team and the marketing manager.
• Proactively communicate task progress, provide updates, and flag potential delays or blockers.
• Clarify requirements and gather the necessary context before starting work or committing to deadlines.
• Manage assigned tasks independently, including investigating issues and finding solutions when documentation is limited.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Hands-on experience with website maintenance, customization, and implementing new pages and features.
• Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and testing your own changes.
• Ability to estimate tasks and provide realistic delivery timelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, contextual updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Proactive and reliable approach to work, including timely communication during agreed working hours.
• Ability to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and communicate progress or blockers in advance.
• Intermediate strong level of English or higher, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, provide status updates, clarify requirements, and discuss task estimates and timelines.
