Senior PHP/Laravel Developer (Shopify Plus)
Description Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-time (FTE) Duration: Long-term project We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with strong Ecommerce expertise and hands-on experience with Shopify Plus. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable Ecommerce solutions, integrating third-party services, and contributing to the overall architecture of high-traffic online stores. Requirements * 5+ years of commercial experience in PHP development with strong knowledge of the Laravel framework; * 2+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js; * 2+ years of experience in Ecommerce web development; * 1+ year of experience working with Shopify Plus; * Strong expertise in relational databases, particularly MySQL; * Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations; * Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows; * Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues; * Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; * Strong problem-solving and communication skills; * React experience will be a plus; * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) will be a plus. Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain scalable Ecommerce applications using PHP/Laravel; * Build and support integrations between Shopify Plus and external systems; * Develop and maintain backend services and APIs; * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers; * Optimize application performance, security, and scalability; * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues; * Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices; * Support CI/CD processes and deployment activities; * Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements. Would be a plus * Experience with React-based frontend development; * Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services; * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; * Familiarity with Shopify app development and Shopify APIs.
