Senior Backend Developer (PHP)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a PHP professional for a client who provides ongoing support for an existing project built on Laravel/Symfony/React technologies. Their approach to implementing features is characterised by a high level of responsibility and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse, design, develop, as well as implement and document RESTful services and APIs;
• Troubleshoot software and product databases to ensure functionality;
• Write object-oriented, clean, and maintainable code;
• Implement common APIs based on architecture guidelines and frameworks;
• Integrate data storage solutions;
• Identify potential process improvement areas;
• Work in a self-testing paradigm without dedicated manual QA engineers.

Ideal profile for the position:

5+ years of development experience in PHP 7, 8 and an ability to demonstrate skills and competence in:

• OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns usage (KISS / DRY);
• Experience in building REST APIs;
• Experience with Laravel/Symfony framework;
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis;
• Experience with Docker;
• Experience with Git / GitLab;
• Level of English language - upper-intermediate and higher.
