We're looking for a Backend Software Developer to join our R&D team.
You'll own features end-to-end: contribute ideas and help define, design, build, deploy, and maintain everything we ship, keeping it fast, reliable, and secure in production.
You'll work closely with other engineers and product managers. Your opinion on architecture, code quality, and tooling will matter from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full lifecycle of features: design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Design system architecture across services, mainly on the server side, plus client-side integration points.
- Build and manage database: schema design, query performance, indexing, and migrations.
- Keep production healthy: troubleshoot issues and keep performance and responsiveness high.
- Review code: suggest improvements and help keep the codebase clean and maintainable.
- Build in security: implement access control, data protection, and secure defaults.
- Integrate external libraries, services, and APIs into existing projects.
- Document your work so others can understand, run, and extend it.
- Work with product managers to turn ideas into working solutions.
Skills And Qualifications
Must have:
- Proven experience as a software developer;
- PHP 7+ and the Symfony framework;
- Go;
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis;
- Infrastructure: GitLab CI, RabbitMQ, HAProxy, Nginx;
- Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems;
- Solid understanding of the SDLC and of DDD / TDD concepts;
- Experience with AI-assisted / agentic software development workflows;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills;
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Nice to have:
- Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery experience is a plus)
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
